Kerrin Forster Lobato de Faria, a native of New Zealand, has lived and travelled throughout the world, including Japan, East Timor and various parts of Europe.  She married in 2002 and now lives with her husband and their children in Aveiro, Portugal.  Kerrin has always loved to create things and to paint. 

About seven years ago she turned this creative energy towards mosaics, initially as a hobby for herself.  She soon advanced from simpler pieces to more adventurous work, as she discovered the 'hidden' world of all things mosaic.  With this advancing capability and an inspiration drawn from the world around her, she has taken on ever more challenging pieces, many of which the viewer can see here.
